Actapro 100mg Tablet is an oral prokinetic agent used primarily for the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD), particularly in patients experiencing postprandial distress syndrome (PDS). It is a novel drug that enhances gastric motility and improves gastric emptying, providing relief from symptoms such as bloating, early satiety, upper abdominal discomfort, and post-meal fullness.

Acotiamide works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, thereby increasing the availability of acetylcholine at the gastrointestinal neuromuscular junction.
