Delivery within 1 or 2 daysAdenoz 6mg/2ml Injection is a prescription-only antiarrhythmic medicine that is widely used in hospitals and clinical settings for the treatment of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), a condition in which the heart beats abnormally fast due to improper electrical activity. Belonging to the class of antiarrhythmic agents, Adenosine works by slowing down electrical conduction through the atrioventricular (AV) node and restoring the heart’s normal rhythm. It acts very quickly and has a short duration of action, making it highly effective for emergency interventions.
This injection is most commonly used in cases where the patient is experiencing paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT), including episodes associated with Wolff Parkinson White (WPW) syndrome. Since Adenosine has a very short half-life of just a few seconds, its effects are temporary but often sufficient to correct abnormal heart rhythms.
Doctors also use Adenosine injection as a diagnostic tool in cardiology. It helps differentiate different types of tachycardias and assess blockages or conduction abnormalities during electrophysiological studies. The injection is given intravenously (IV) under strict medical supervision with continuous ECG monitoring to ensure patient safety.
Adenoz 6mg/2ml Injection should only be used in a hospital or clinical setup where resuscitation equipment is readily available. It is not a self-administered medicine and should never be used without a doctor’s prescription.
