Amlong 10 Tablet

Amlong 10 Tablet is a widely prescribed antihypertensive and anti-anginal medication from the calcium channel blocker (CCB) class. It is primarily used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and chronic stable angina (chest pain). This 10 mg strength is typically prescribed for patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with the lower 5 mg dose.

Amlodipine works by relaxing and dilating the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood and lowering overall blood pressure. By improving blood flow, it also helps to prevent the frequency and severity of angina attacks and reduces the heart's oxygen demand.
