Ampilox Ds Tablet

Ampilox Ds Tablet is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic combination used to treat various bacterial infections. This tablet combines Ampicillin, a penicillin antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacteria, with Cloxacillin, a penicillinase-resistant antibiotic, making it effective against resistant bacterial strains.

• Ampicillin (500 MG) works by disrupting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.

• Cloxacillin (500 MG) is resistant to beta-lactamase enzymes, ensuring the antibiotic remains effective against penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus species.

This combination is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis), skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), ear infections (otitis media), and dental infections.
