Anxipan Capsule

Anxipan Capsule is a combination medicine designed to address both chronic pain or depression-related issues and acid-related stomach problems in a single formulation. It combines the therapeutic benefits of two active ingredients:

• Amitriptyline (10 MG) – A tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) that helps in the management of depression, anxiety disorders, neuropathic pain, tension headaches, and sleep disturbances. Amitriptyline works by increasing the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, improving mood, emotional balance, and pain perception. Its mild sedative effect also supports better sleep.

• Pantoprazole (40 MG) – A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces excess stomach acid production. It is widely used for acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric ulcers, heartburn, and acid-related indigestion. By lowering acid levels, Pantoprazole provides stomach protection, especially in patients who require long-term antidepressant or pain management therapy.

This capsule is especially useful for patients who are prone to gastric irritation or acidity due to long-term Amitriptyline use, as Pantoprazole helps counter these side effects. It provides dual benefits – managing mood, pain, and anxiety while protecting the stomach from acid-related damage.
