Bactoclav 1000 mg Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It combines Amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, with Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxicillin from bacterial enzymes that can make it ineffective. This combination is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, sinus infections, ear infections, throat infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and certain bone and joint infections. Bactoclav works only against bacterial infections and is not effective for viral illnesses such as the common cold or flu. Precaution

• Inform your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin, cephalosporins, or other antibiotics.
