INTRODUCTION

BIOSERT 50MG TABLET is an antidepressant belonging to the SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) class of medicines. It is recommended for treating major depressive disorder, and anxiety disorder, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic disorder among adult people.

Premenstrual Dysphoric condition may also be treated with BIOSERT 50MG TABLET (depression and irritability before menstrual period in women).

Taking it with or without meals is OK. Your doctor will determine the dosage and frequency you require so that you receive the proper quantity to manage your symptoms.

Your doctor could prescribe a lesser dose at first, then gradually increase it. Even if you feel OK, do not modify the dosage or stop taking it without first consulting your doctor. If you do, your illness might get worse or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms (anxiety, restlessness, palpitations, dizziness, sleep disturbances, etc).
