Bisomax Am 2.5mg Tablet

Bisomax Am 2.5mg Tablet is a prescription combination medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), and in some cases, chronic stable angina (chest pain) or heart failure. This dual-action therapy combines two cardiovascular agents that work together to lower blood pressure and reduce the heart's workload.

Each tablet contains:

• Amlodipine 5 MG – a calcium channel blocker (CCB) that relaxes the smooth muscles of blood vessels, allowing them to widen and reduce pressure.

• Bisoprolol 2.5 MG – a beta-1 selective blocker that slows down the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions, lowering blood pressure and preventing excessive strain on the heart.
