Broadiclox Novo Capsule is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic combination designed to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. By combining Ampicillin, a widely used penicillin antibiotic, with Dicloxacillin, a penicillinase-resistant antibiotic, this formulation effectively combats both susceptible and resistant bacteria.

• Ampicillin (250 MG) works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death.

• Dicloxacillin (250 MG) is resistant to penicillinase enzymes produced by certain bacteria, making it effective against penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus infections.

This combination is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis), skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), ear infections (otitis media), and dental infections.
