Bythera Gel is a topical anti-acne medication used to treat mild to moderate acne vulgaris, including pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and inflammatory acne lesions. It combines Erythromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that helps eliminate acne-causing bacteria, with Isotretinoin, a vitamin A (retinoid) derivative that promotes skin cell turnover and prevents blockage of pores. Together, these ingredients reduce bacterial growth, control inflammation, unclog pores, and prevent the formation of new acne lesions. Regular use helps improve skin texture and reduce acne breakouts over time. Bythera Gel should be applied only to the affected areas as directed by a dermatologist. During treatment, sunscreen use and gentle skincare are recommended because the skin may become more sensitive to sunlight and irritation.

Bythera Gel combines Erythromycin 2% and Isotretinoin 0.05% to provide a dual approach to acne treatment.
