Cefastar 100mg Dry Syrup 30ml

CEFASTAR 100MG Dry Syrup 30ml is an antibiotic medicine containing Cefixime 100mg/5ml, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is commonly prescribed for children and sometimes adults to treat bacterial infections such as throat infection, ear infection, sinus infection, chest infection, urinary tract infection, and certain skin infections.

Precautions

• Use only for bacterial infections, not for cold or flu.
• Inform the doctor if the patient has:
  • Allergy to cephalosporin or penicillin antibiotics
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver problems
• Do not skip doses or stop early.
• Avoid self-medication.
• Tell the doctor about other medicines being taken, especially blood thinners or other antibiotics.
