Cipropen is an antibiotic eye drop containing 0.3% ciprofloxacin. It’s used to treat bacterial eye infections like conjunctivitis or corneal ulcers by killing the bacteria causing them.
Uses
- Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers
- May also be prescribed for certain ear infections if specifically indicated

Side Effects

Uncommon or serious (stop use and consult doctor):
- Severe eye pain, swelling, or vision changes
- Allergic reactions: rash, itching, swelling, breathing difficulties
- Prolonged use may lead to fungal infections in the eye
Storage
- Keep at room temperature: 20–25°C (may tolerate 15–30°C temporarily)
- Protect from light and moisture; store in original carton
- Discard 4 weeks after opening even if unused
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not freeze
