Combither At 60mg Injection 1ml is a life-saving antimalarial drug used for the treatment of severe malaria, especially those caused by Plasmodium falciparum. It is an artemisinin derivative known for its rapid action against malaria parasites, particularly effective in critical cases where oral therapy is not possible due to unconsciousness, vomiting, or multi-organ involvement.

This injectable form of artesunate is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the first-line treatment for severe malaria in both adults and children. It is preferred over older treatments like quinine due to its faster parasite clearance, lower risk of complications, and improved survival rates.

Each vial of Artesunate contains 60 mg of artesunate powder, which must be reconstituted with the supplied solvent (sodium bicarbonate) and then diluted with saline or dextrose before intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) administration.
