DAPADAX VGM 10/100/500 mg Tablet is a triple fixed-dose combination containing:

  • Dapagliflozin (10 mg): An SGLT2 inhibitor that increases urinary glucose excretion

  • Metformin (500 mg): A biguanide that reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity

  • Vildagliptin (100 mg): A DPP-4 inhibitor that enhances incretin action, increasing insulin secretion and lowering glucagon

This combination offers a multi-mechanism approach for the effective management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM).

USES

  • For the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults

  • Indicated when diet, exercise, and dual therapy fail to achieve adequate glycemic control

  • Can be used as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan to improve blood sugar levels

    • Dapagliflozin: Eliminates excess glucose through urine

    • Metformin: Reduces glucose production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity

  • Weight loss or weight neutral effect (especially from dapagliflozin)

  • Low risk of hypoglycemia when not combined with insulin or sulfonylureas
