DTCure Eye Drop 5 ml is a prescription ophthalmic medicine used to reduce high pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It combines Dorzolamide Hydrochloride 2%, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, and Timolol 0.5%, a non-selective beta-blocker, to provide effective pressure reduction through two complementary mechanisms. Elevated eye pressure can gradually damage the optic nerve and may lead to permanent vision loss if left untreated. Dorzolamide decreases the production of aqueous humor (the fluid inside the eye), while Timolol further reduces fluid formation, helping maintain healthy eye pressure. Benzalkonium Chloride acts as a preservative that helps keep the solution free from microbial contamination. Regular use as prescribed helps slow the progression of glaucoma and protects vision. Continue using the eye drops even if you do not notice symptoms, as glaucoma often progresses silently.
