Dutabloc Tablet

Dutabloc Tablet is a prescription medicine generally containing Dutasteride 0.5 mg, used mainly for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), also called enlarged prostate in men. It helps improve urinary symptoms such as difficulty urinating, weak urine flow, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying. Dutasteride belongs to a class of medicines called 5-alpha reductase inhibitors.

Precautions

• For use in adult men only.
• Women, especially pregnant women, should avoid handling broken tablets because the medicine can be absorbed through the skin and may harm a male fetus.
• Inform your doctor if you have:
  • liver disease
  • prostate cancer history
  • urinary obstruction
• This medicine may affect PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test results.
• Avoid donating blood during treatment and for several months after stopping the medicine.
• Use caution if taking medicines for blood pressure, fungal infections, or HIV medicines due to possible interactions.
