Esopen Dsr Capsule

Esopen DSR is a medicine commonly used to treat problems related to excess stomach acid and slow digestion. It combines two active ingredients: Esomeprazole (40 mg) and Domperidone (30 mg, sustained release).

In simple terms, this capsule works on two major stomach issues at the same time. First, esomeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. When acid is high, it can cause burning in the chest (heartburn), sour taste in the mouth, stomach pain, and even damage to the food pipe over time. By lowering acid, it gives relief and allows the stomach lining to heal.

Second, domperidone helps food move smoothly from the stomach to the intestines. When digestion is slow, people often feel bloated, heavy after meals, or nauseous. Sometimes it also causes vomiting. Domperidone helps prevent these symptoms by improving stomach movement and reducing the feeling of fullness.

Together, these two medicines provide relief from acid reflux (GERD), gastritis, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting. Many people feel better within a few days, but full healing may take consistent use as advised by a doctor.

This medicine is usually taken before meals, most commonly in the morning, because it works best when the stomach is empty. It is not meant for casual or occasional heartburn unless prescribed.

However, it should always be used carefully because long-term or unnecessary use may cause side effects. It is especially important for people with heart conditions to consult a doctor before use due to domperidone.
