Festive D Eye Drops 10ml

This is a prescription eye medicine that treats bacterial eye infections with swelling, redness, or irritation. It combines an antibiotic (kills germs) and a steroid (reduces inflammation).

Dexamethasone 0.1% w/v is a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation in the eye. It calms redness, swelling, and irritation caused by infections or other eye conditions, relieves discomfort like itching and burning, and helps prevent damage to delicate eye tissues caused by prolonged inflammation. However, it does not kill bacteria, and long-term use can increase eye pressure, risk of cataracts, or worsen infections if used incorrectly.

Ofloxacin 0.3% w/v is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that fights bacterial infections by stopping bacteria from multiplying, helping to clear infections such as conjunctivitis, eyelid infections, or post-surgical infections. On its own, it does not reduce inflammation. When combined in Festive-D Eye Drops, ofloxacin eliminates the bacterial infection while dexamethasone controls inflammation and discomfort, providing faster relief.

This combination is effective but must be used under medical supervision because the steroid can mask worsening infections or cause complications if misused.

Precaution

• Don’t use if you have viral or fungal eye infections.
• Avoid if allergic to dexamethasone, ofloxacin, or similar medicines.
• Don’t wear contact lenses while using the drops unless your doctor says it’s okay.
• Finish the full course even if your eyes feel better.
• Avoid sharing your eye drops with anyone.
