Glycomet Gp2 Tablet

Glycomet GP2 Tablet is a prescription antidiabetic medicine used to improve blood sugar control in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It combines Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea that stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, with Metformin, a biguanide that reduces glucose production in the liver and improves the body's sensitivity to insulin. This dual-action combination effectively lowers both fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels. Glycomet GP2 helps reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications such as heart disease, kidney damage, nerve damage, and vision problems when used regularly along with a healthy diet, regular exercise, and lifestyle modifications. It is not recommended for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and should only be taken under medical supervision.

Glycomet GP2 Tablet combines Glimepiride 2 mg and Metformin 500 mg to provide comprehensive blood sugar control in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release insulin, helping lower blood glucose levels, especially after meals. Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity, allowing the body's cells to use glucose more effectively. Precaution

• Use only under medical supervision.
• Not recommended for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
