Gomela Cream 15gm

Gomela Cream 15 gm is a topical dermatological combination medicine that contains Hydroquinone 0.2%, Mometasone Furoate 0.1% (w/w), and Tretinoin 0.025% (w/w). It is mainly used for short-term treatment of facial hyperpigmentation conditions such as melasma, dark spots, uneven skin tone, and post-acne pigmentation. It works by combining skin-lightening, anti-inflammatory, and skin-renewing actions. Because it contains a potent steroid (mometasone), it should only be used under medical supervision and not for long-term or cosmetic use without guidance.

Gomela Cream is a triple-combination topical cream designed for short-term management of stubborn pigmentation disorders. It helps lighten dark patches by decreasing excess melanin, promoting new skin cell formation, and reducing inflammation. It is commonly prescribed for conditions like melasma (especially on the face), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone caused by sun exposure or acne. It is usually applied at night because the ingredients, especially tretinoin and hydroquinone, can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.

Each ingredient plays a specific role in improving skin appearance. Hydroquinone (0.2%) is a depigmenting agent that reduces melanin production, helping fade dark patches and pigmentation. Tretinoin (0.025%), a retinoid (vitamin A derivative), increases skin cell turnover, removes dead pigmented cells, and enhances penetration of hydroquinone for better results. Mometasone furoate (0.1%) is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and irritation that may occur due to tretinoin or hydroquinone.

Together, this combination provides a faster visible improvement in pigmentation by targeting melanin production, skin renewal, and inflammation simultaneously.
