Joypil 5 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine containing Tadalafil 5 mg, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. It is also prescribed for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) to relieve urinary symptoms such as difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and weak urine flow. Joypil 5 mg Tablet plays an important role in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by improving blood flow and relaxing smooth muscles. The active ingredient, Tadalafil, belongs to the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitor class. During sexual stimulation, nitric oxide is released in the penis, leading to the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), a substance that relaxes the smooth muscles and increases blood flow into the penile tissues. Normally, the PDE-5 enzyme breaks down cGMP. Tadalafil blocks this enzyme, allowing cGMP levels to remain elevated for longer, resulting in improved blood flow and a firmer, longer-lasting erection.
