Lipaglyn 4mg Tablet

Lipaglyn 4 mg contains Saroglitazar, a medicine used mainly to treat high triglyceride levels (dyslipidemia), especially in people with type 2 diabetes or fatty liver disease (NAFLD/NASH). It helps improve fat metabolism in the body, reduces harmful blood fats, and supports better liver and heart health. It is taken orally as prescribed by a doctor, usually along with diet control and lifestyle changes.

Saroglitazar works by activating special receptors in the body called PPAR-alpha and PPAR-gamma. These receptors control how fats and sugars are processed. By activating PPAR-alpha, it helps break down triglycerides and increases the removal of bad fats from the blood, leading to lower triglyceride levels. Through PPAR-gamma activation, it also improves insulin sensitivity, helping the body use glucose more effectively, which is especially beneficial in people with diabetes.
