Loceryl Nail Lacquer 2.5ml is a topical antifungal treatment specially formulated for fungal infections of the nails, medically known as onychomycosis. It is an effective and convenient solution used to treat infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds. The lacquer penetrates the nail surface, delivering the active ingredient—Amorolfine hydrochloride—deep into the nail bed to eliminate the fungal infection at its source.

Amorolfine belongs to the morpholine class of antifungal agents and works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, a key component of the fungal cell membrane. This dual-action mechanism both stops fungal growth (fungistatic) and kills existing fungi (fungicidal). The 5% w/v strength is the highest concentration available for topical use and is suitable for moderate to severe nail infections affecting up to 2/3 of the nail plate.

Unlike oral antifungal medications,Loceryl Nail Lacquer 2.5ml is applied directly to the infected nail, reducing the risk of systemic side effects and drug interactions. It is especially beneficial for patients who cannot tolerate oral antifungals or those with liver or kidney concerns.
