USES OF METBETIC GL 1 TABLET

Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus

BENEFITS OF METBETIC GL 1 TABLET

METBETIC GL 1 TABLET is used in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes and to lower blood sugar levels in persons with high blood sugar levels caused by other medicines called sulphonylureas or insulin. Gemed ER is not recommended for use with insulin. It has anti-hyperglycemic action and slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in the body to lower their level in the blood. The drug does not stimulate insulin secretion from tissues and does not produce hypoglycemic (low blood glucose) effect when used alone. It is not known whether Gemed ER affects egg, foetus or breast feeding when taken as a single dose.

METBETIC GL 1 TABLET is an adrenaline-like medicine known as beta-blocker. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and slowing down the heart rate. METBETIC GL 1 TABLET will reduce the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease if you have type 2 diabetes and already have cardiovascular disease. Taking this medicine regularly along with proper diet and exercise will help you live a normal, healthy life. You should keep using it for as long as it is prescribed because it is protecting your future health.
