Modlip Am Tablet

Modlip Am Tablet is a dual-action cardiovascular medication that effectively manages high cholesterol and high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. This fixed-dose combination provides comprehensive heart protection by targeting two of the most common cardiovascular risk factors — elevated lipid levels and high blood pressure.

• Atorvastatin (10 MG): A statin that lowers LDL (“bad cholesterol”) and triglycerides while increasing HDL (“good cholesterol”). It prevents plaque buildup in the arteries, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke.

• S-Amlodipine (2.5 MG): The active S-enantiomer of amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure with fewer side effects compared to regular amlodipine.

This combination is commonly prescribed for individuals with coexisting dyslipidemia and hypertension or those at high cardiovascular risk due to diabetes, obesity, or atherosclerosis.
