Mygesteron 400 mg Capsule contains Megestrol Acetate, a progestin hormone used mainly to:

• Stimulate appetite and weight gain in patients with severe weight loss (cachexia) due to cancer or HIV/AIDS.
• Treat certain hormone-related cancers, such as breast or endometrial cancer.

Precautions

• Allergies: Avoid if allergic to megestrol or other progestins.
