Delivery within 1 or 2 daysNab DT Tablet is an antibiotic containing Doxycycline 100 mg, a tetracycline-class medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It is effective against infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, eyes, sexually transmitted infections (such as chlamydia), acne, periodontal infections, and certain tick- and mosquito-borne diseases. Doxycycline is also used for the prevention of malaria in specific situations. It works by stopping the growth and multiplication of bacteria, allowing the body's immune system to eliminate the infection. Nab DT Tablet is not effective against viral infections such as the common cold or flu. To prevent antibiotic resistance and ensure complete recovery, it is important to complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve earlier. The tablet should be taken exactly as directed by a healthcare professional.
Nab DT Tablet contains Doxycycline 100 mg, a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic that effectively treats infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It works by binding to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing protein synthesis that bacteria require for growth and reproduction. As bacterial multiplication stops, the immune system can eliminate the infection. Doxycycline is widely used for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, acne vulgaris, sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, periodontal infections, and certain tick-borne diseases including rickettsial infections. It is also prescribed for malaria prevention in selected travelers. Besides controlling bacterial growth, it helps reduce inflammation associated with infection, leading to symptom relief and faster healing.
Completing the full treatment course is essential to prevent recurrence and antibiotic resistance. Patients should avoid excessive sunlight during therapy and take the medicine with plenty of water while remaining upright to reduce the risk of irritation of the esophagus.
AIt is used to treat various bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary, skin, eye, sexually transmitted, and acne-related infections, and may also be used for malaria prevention when prescribed.
ANo. Doxycycline works only against bacterial infections and is ineffective against viral illnesses such as colds or influenza.
AIt is best to avoid milk, dairy products, calcium supplements, iron supplements, and antacids within 2 hours of taking the tablet because they can reduce doxycycline absorption.
ADoxycycline can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, increasing the risk of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure.
