PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Nortryptomer-P Tablet releases Nortriptyline. This medicine is a tricyclic antidepressant. A combination drug called nortryptomer-P 10mg/75mg Tablet is used to treat neuropathic pain. By blocking the transmission of pain impulses to the brain, this medication lessens pain. It is used in the treatment of chronic pain in persons who have developed tolerance to other medicines. Nortryptomer-P Tablet also works by suppressing nerve impulses that cause pain and discomfort. The exact mechanism how Nortryptomer-P works against neuropathic pain is not known yet, but it is believed that it normalizes the level of neurotransmitters in the pain affected areas, hence reducing the sensation of pain.

Nortryptomer-P Tablet is habit forming. This medicine is to be taken as prescribed by the doctor. This medicine comes with a black box warning. This is the most serious warning from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). A black box warning alerts doctors and pharmacist about any dangerous effects on using the medicine.
