Optisoft Eye Drops contain Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose (0.5% w/v) and Glycerin (0.5% w/v) as active ingredients. These components act as eye lubricants and nourishers.

Uses:
Optisoft Eye Drops are designed to prevent and treat dry eyes. They provide temporary relief from burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by dryness of the eyes or exposure to environmental factors such as wind or sun. The drops work by mimicking natural tears, keeping the eyes moist, protecting them from injury and infection, and reducing symptoms like itching or the sensation of a foreign body in the eye.

How It Works:

  • Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose: A lubricant that increases the viscosity of the tear film, enhancing its stability and providing prolonged moisture to the ocular surface. It binds to corneal epithelial cells, facilitating wound healing and reducing irritation.
  • Glycerin: Acts as a humectant, helping to retain moisture and further soothe dry, irritated eyes.

Dosage and Administration:
Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. Shake well before use. Follow your doctor’s or product package instructions for specific guidance. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination, and discard single-use containers after use.

Precautions:

  • Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye, fingers, or any surface to prevent contamination.
  • Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.
  • Stop use and consult a doctor if you experience eye pain, vision changes, or if redness/irritation persists for more than 72 hours.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to any ingredients in the product.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include temporary blurred vision, minor burning, stinging, or irritation. Rare but serious side effects include eye pain, vision changes, or severe allergic reactions (e.g., rash, swelling, difficulty breathing). Contact a healthcare provider if these occur.

Storage:
Store at room temperature (15°-30°C or 59°-86°F). Keep out of reach of children.
