Pantocid Hp Tablet is a triple therapy combination widely prescribed for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and associated gastric and duodenal ulcers. By combining two powerful antibiotics with a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), this medicine ensures effective eradication of infection and long-term relief from acid-related gastrointestinal problems.

  • Amoxicillin (750 MG): A broad-spectrum penicillin-class antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively killing the H. pylori bacteria.

  • Clarithromycin (500 MG): A macrolide antibiotic that blocks bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacterial growth and enhancing the eradication rate of resistant strains.

  • Pantoprazole (40 MG): A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production, creating a favorable environment for antibiotics to work effectively and promoting healing of ulcers and gastritis.

This triple combination is considered the standard first-line treatment for H. pylori infection, which is a major cause of chronic gastritis, peptic ulcers, gastric discomfort, and in some cases, can reduce the risk of stomach cancer.

The Pantocid Hp Tablet not only eliminates the infection but also relieves acid reflux, indigestion, bloating, and abdominal discomfort, ensuring comprehensive gastrointestinal care.

It is especially prescribed for patients suffering from:

  • H. pylori–related gastric and duodenal ulcers

  • Chronic gastritis and reflux symptoms

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with bacterial association

  • Peptic ulcer disease resistant to single therapy
