Rofine Cream 20gm is a topical antifungal medication formulated for the effective treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin and nails, including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and mild fungal nail infections. The cream contains Amorolfine hydrochloride, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent from the morpholine class, which offers both fungistatic (inhibits fungal growth) and fungicidal (kills fungus) effects.

This 0.25% w/w concentration is suitable for mild to moderate infections, particularly in sensitive skin areas or for patients who require a gentler formulation. Amorolfine works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, a key component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the membrane structure is compromised, leading to fungal cell death and a gradual clearance of infection.

Unlike higher-strength lacquers or systemic antifungals, Rofine Cream 20gm provides targeted action with minimal systemic absorption, making it ideal for daily use and long-term application. It is particularly useful for patients who cannot tolerate oral antifungals or prefer a non-invasive treatment option.
