Shelcal Os Tablet

The Shelcal Os Tablet is a well-balanced formulation used to support bone health, improve calcium absorption, and manage vitamin D3 deficiency. It is especially effective for individuals with osteoporosis, osteomalacia, hypocalcemia, and calcium or vitamin D metabolism disorders.

This combination contains:

• Alfacalcidol (0.25 MG): A synthetic analog of active vitamin D3, which is quickly converted in the liver to calcitriol—the biologically active form of vitamin D. Unlike cholecalciferol, Alfacalcidol is ideal for patients with impaired kidney function, as it bypasses renal activation and helps in calcium and phosphate absorption from the gut.
