INTRODUCTION
Skinshine Cream 30 gm is primarily used to treat melasma (dark brown patch on skin). Brown patches on the face are a typical symptom of melasma, commonly known as chloasma or the pregnancy mask. Females experience more than men. The forehead, chin, nose, and cheeks are the main locations for the discolored patches to appear.
Do not apply on a cut, open wound or burn area. In case of accidental contact with these areas rinse thoroughly with water. Some people may experience skin irritation, burning sensation, itching or redness. Contact your pediatrician if symptoms persist beyond 3 days or in case there is any change in strength.
Children under the age of 12 should not use Skinshine Cream 30 gm. Avoid going outside in the sun if you're using Skinshine Cream 30 gm because it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun and lead to sunburn.

Skinshine Cream is a combination of three drugs, namely Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin. Hydroquinone comes from the class of skin lightening agents that reduces the amount of melanin in the skin, which is responsible for skin discoloration.
Mometasone is a corticosteroid that acts inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens or irritants, this happens naturally. Tretinoin belongs to the class of retinoids (man-made vitamin A) which helps in increasing the renewal of skin cells which is necessary for normal exfoliation of skin’s outer layers. Also acts as an antimicrobial agent against bacteria on your skin thereby preventing acne breakouts.

Follow the doctor's prescription instruction and apply the medication thinly over the affected areas, using enough to cover them. The afflicted skin areas receive two or three daily applications of Skinshine Cream.
Will Skinshine Cream be more effective if taken more than prescribed?
No, overusing Skinshine Cream won't make it work better. Overusing the medication may cause the body to absorb too much of it. In addition to other detrimental effects, this could cause the skin to thin or weaken. Please see your doctor for a reevaluation if the severity of your symptoms has gotten worse.
