Delivery within 1 or 2 daysSpnib 50 mg Tablet contains Dasatinib 50 mg, a targeted anticancer medicine belonging to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) class. It is primarily used to treat Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) in chronic, accelerated, or blast phases, and Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL) in adults and certain children, as prescribed by an oncologist. Dasatinib works by blocking abnormal proteins that stimulate the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells, thereby slowing or stopping the progression of leukemia. It is often prescribed when patients do not respond to or cannot tolerate other treatments such as imatinib. Treatment requires regular monitoring of blood counts, liver function, and heart health because serious side effects may occur. Spnib should be taken exactly as prescribed and only under the supervision of a cancer specialist.
Spnib 50 mg Tablet contains Dasatinib, a second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) used to treat Philadelphia chromosome-positive Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (Ph+ CML) and Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL). The Philadelphia chromosome produces an abnormal BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase, which continuously signals leukemia cells to grow and divide uncontrollably. Dasatinib blocks this abnormal enzyme along with several other tyrosine kinases involved in cancer cell survival, effectively slowing or stopping leukemia progression. This targeted mechanism helps destroy abnormal blood cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissues compared with traditional chemotherapy.
Dasatinib is particularly valuable for patients who are resistant to or intolerant of earlier therapies such as imatinib. Regular monitoring of blood counts, liver function, and cardiovascular health is essential because treatment may cause bone marrow suppression, bleeding, infections, or fluid accumulation around the lungs. Consistent use under specialist supervision improves long-term disease control and treatment outcomes.
AIt is used to treat Philadelphia chromosome-positive Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL).
ANo. Continue taking it exactly as prescribed. Stopping treatment without medical advice may allow the leukemia to progress.
ABlood tests help monitor blood cell counts, liver function, and treatment response, allowing your doctor to detect side effects early.
ANo. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can increase Dasatinib levels in the body and raise the risk of side effects.
AYes. Dasatinib may lower white blood cell counts, increasing the risk of infections. Report fever, sore throat, or persistent cough promptly.
ASeek urgent medical care if you develop difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe bleeding, persistent high fever, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, severe allergic reactions, or signs of fluid around the lungs such as worsening shortness of breath.
