Tah 80 Tab

Tah 80 Tab is a triple-combination antihypertensive medication used in the treatment of moderate to severe hypertension (high blood pressure). It is specially formulated for patients whose blood pressure cannot be adequately managed with single or dual therapy. By combining three proven blood pressure–lowering medicines, this tablet ensures powerful, long-lasting, and well-balanced control of hypertension.

• Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker (CCB) that relaxes and widens blood vessels, reducing vascular resistance and improving blood flow.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): A thiazide diuretic that promotes excretion of excess sodium and water, reducing fluid buildup and lowering blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): A potent angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessel constriction, reduces heart strain, and offers kidney protection.

This triple-therapy tablet reduces the risks associated with uncontrolled high blood pressure such as heart attack, stroke, heart failure, kidney damage, and vision problems. Telmisartan 80 mg, being a stronger dose, is particularly beneficial for patients with severe or resistant hypertension who require higher ARB activity for effective blood pressure control.
