Triline Plus Tablet is a prescription combination medicine primarily used to treat depression with anxiety, psychosomatic disorders, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), somatic symptoms with emotional distress, and certain functional gastrointestinal issues like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This formulation brings together two clinically proven ingredients—Amitriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA), and Chlordiazepoxide, a benzodiazepine anxiolytic—for balanced management of mental and physical symptoms.

Amitriptyline works by increasing the availability of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, helping to stabilize mood, relieve depression, and reduce chronic pain symptoms. It also has mild sedative and anti-anxiety properties.
