Tugain Foam 5% Solution is a topical hair growth treatment containing Minoxidil 5%, primarily used to treat androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss). It works by improving blood flow around hair follicles, prolonging the hair growth (anagen) phase, and stimulating inactive follicles to produce thicker, healthier hair. Regular use helps reduce hair fall, encourages new hair growth, and increases hair density over time. Visible improvement usually begins after 2–4 months of consistent use, while maximum benefits may take 6–12 months. Tugain Foam is intended for application only on the scalp and should be used exactly as directed. Stopping treatment may gradually reverse the benefits and lead to renewed hair loss. It is most effective in people with recent or mild to moderate hereditary hair loss and should be used under medical guidance.
