Vigore 50 mg contains Sildenafil Citrate, a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It helps improve blood flow to the penis, making it easier to get and maintain an erection when sexually stimulated. It does not increase sexual desire on its own—it only works when there is sexual arousal.

Sildenafil 50 mg (Vigore 50 mg) plays a key role in treating erectile dysfunction by improving blood circulation to the penile tissues. It works by blocking an enzyme called PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5), which normally restricts blood flow. When PDE5 is inhibited, blood vessels in the penis relax and widen, allowing increased blood flow during sexual stimulation.

This results in a stronger and longer-lasting erection sufficient for sexual activity. However, Sildenafil only works in the presence of sexual stimulation and does not automatically cause an erection. It helps restore normal sexual function, improve confidence, and enhance sexual performance in men with ED caused by physical, psychological, or lifestyle-related factors.
