Ketokesh Soap is a medicated bar designed to target fungal and bacterial skin issues. It combines 1% ketoconazole (an azole antifungal) and 1% zinc pyrithione (a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent). This dual-action formulation helps combat conditions like dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, fungal acne, and other fungal infections
USES
- Dandruff & seborrheic dermatitis: Reduces malassezia overgrowth responsible for flaky, itchy scalp
- Fungal skin infections: Effective against tinea versicolor, ringworm, athlete’s foot, and related conditions
- Fungal/acneic skin areas: Can alleviate fungal acne by disrupting yeast growth
BENEFITS
- Enhanced antifungal efficacy: Ketoconazole disrupts fungal cell membranes; zinc pyrithione adds fungistatic activity—especially effective for Malassezia-related conditions
- Antibacterial & sebum-regulating: Zinc pyrithione also targets bacteria and may help control oily skin or scalp
