Rifagut 550mg Tab is a medicine that treats hepatic encephalopathy, a condition that causes brain damage when the liver fails to remove harmful toxins. The most common symptoms are agitation, confusion, muscle problems, difficulty speaking, and, occasionally, coma.
In addition to treating infectious diarrhea, Rifagut 550mg Tab is also used to treat irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) in adults and children. As a single medicine or in combination with other medications, the medicine can be used. The medicine can be taken with or without a meal, preferably at the same time every day, in the prescribed dose and for the prescribed duration, and should be taken at the same time each day to obtain the most benefit, and you should continue to take it for the prescribed amount of time. When you stop it early, the infection may return and be more difficult to heal.
If you experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or headache persists, you should speak to your physician. These side effects are usually temporary and will go away with time as your body adjusts to the medicine. There is a possibility that your urine will become reddish due to this medicine, however, it is normal and harmless.
