Teniva-M Forte Tablet ER is a Medicine that controls high blood sugar levels in those who suffer from Type II diabetes mellitus. It reduces the risk of kidney damage and blindness while also reducing your chances of having a heart attack or stroke. Teniva-M Forte Tablet ER can be taken alone or alongside other Medicines for diabetes.
All diabetic medicines work best when combined with diet and exercise. Your specific dosage will depend on many different factors, including your condition, blood sugar level, and what else you're taking at the time. Taking it with meals helps to avoid an upset stomach.
To get the most out of this Medicine, make sure you are taking it at the same time every day and do not stop using it without consulting a doctor. It helps control your blood sugar levels and prevents many dangerous complications from happening in the future. You need to stay on your diet and exercise routine- both of these are crucial for managing diabetes symptoms.
Side effects of taking this medicine include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headache, and sore throat. A rare but potentially dangerous side effect is low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). If you take any type of diabetes Medicine such as insulin or sulfonylurea then you should keep an eye out for hypoglycemia symptoms which can be recognized and dealt with properly if treated early enough.
This medicine is not right for everyone. Let your doctor know beforehand if you've had kidney, liver, or heart disease; issues with your pancreas; and/or excessive alcohol consumption. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their physician before taking this Medicine. This Medicine could interact with some other drugs so make sure to let your doctor know about everything else that you're currently on in order to stay safe. You should avoid drinking any alcohol because it could lower blood glucose levels. Your physician will monitor your kidney function and blood sugar levels before, during, and after treatment.
Medicine Activity
Teniva-M Forte Tablet ER is made of Metformin and Teneligliptin, which are drugs used for diabetes. Metformin belongs to a group of Medicines called biguanides - these lower glucose levels in the liver and intestines,
This causing improved sensitivity to insulin by increasing its release from the pancreas and also helps manage blood sugar level spikes after meals. Teneligliptin improves blood sugar management through its action on an enzyme called Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4, or DPP-IV - lowering secretions that raise blood sugars while having no effect on those produced by pancreatic beta cells.
